If you live near the Shoals, you can walk into a branch. If you don't, how well you get on with a credit union depends mostly on its digital tools and its ATM and branch network. Here is what Listerhill lists, followed by the safety habits that matter most.
Ways to reach your accounts
- Online banking. Enrollment and login are available through the official website. Listerhill's online banking runs on a platform provided by a technology partner, which is normal for credit unions of its size.
- Mobile banking app. The Listerhill Mobile Banking app is available for smartphones. Download it only from your phone's official app store, and check that the publisher is the credit union.
- LCU Cards app. A separate app for managing Listerhill credit cards.
- Mobile wallets. In 2026 the credit union announced an easier way to add its cards to mobile wallets.
- eStatements. Electronic statements you can register for instead of paper.
- Automated phone access. The credit union lists an automated phone line at 256-381-5555. Confirm the number on Listerhill's website or the back of your card before calling.
- Live chat. The official website offers a chat option for support.
Branches, Smart ATMs and shared branching
Listerhill's branches are concentrated in its home region, and its location finder also lists Smart ATMs (which it abbreviates as SATMs). Its newest branch opened in Winfield, Alabama, in August 2026. Check Listerhill's official locations page for current addresses and hours.
Listerhill also participates in the CO-OP Shared Branch network. Shared branching lets members of participating credit unions carry out many routine transactions, such as deposits, withdrawals and loan payments, at other participating credit unions' branches. It's a practical option if you live elsewhere in the eligible states or travel often. Services and fees at shared branches can vary, so check before relying on it.
Staying safe: habits that prevent most banking fraud
Criminals often pretend to be banks and credit unions, including by building look-alike websites and placing ads. These habits protect you whichever institution you use.
- Type the address yourself. Go to listerhill.com by typing it or using a saved bookmark. Don't reach your banking login through links in texts, emails, social media or ads.
- Never share one-time codes. A real credit union employee will never ask for your online banking password, PIN or the verification code sent to your phone.
- Hang up and call back. If someone calls claiming to be from your credit union's fraud team, end the call and phone the number printed on your card or listed on the official website.
- Be wary of urgency. Pressure to "act now", move money to a "safe account" or pay with gift cards or cryptocurrency is a classic scam signal.
- Know what's public. A routing number identifies the institution and is public. Your account number, card number and login details are not, and you should share them only when you initiated the transaction.
- Turn on alerts. Transaction alerts help you spot unauthorized activity quickly.
Listerhill runs a Scam and Fraud Center on its website with current warnings. If you think your account has been compromised, contact the credit union straight away using its official contact details. You can also report fraud to the Federal Trade Commission at reportfraud.ftc.gov.
A note about this site: Plain Ledger has no login, no forms and no connection to anyone's account, and it will never ask for banking details. If a page claiming to be Plain Ledger asks for them, it isn't us.
